SPU’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing meets the educational requirements that will allow you to pursue licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Washington. 如果你是SPU的在校生, your preparation for entry into the Nursing major begins the first quarter of your freshman year focusing on completion of prerequisite 和 普通的课程 和 研究性课程 课程. Nursing program prerequisites are typically completed during the first two years. Formal application to the major begins after completing four or more of the prerequisite 课程.
- Applicants may complete all coursework at SPU, 或者可能转移先决条件, 通识教育, 和 elective coursework from other institutions prior to admission at SPU.

- SPU students must be in good st和ing currently enrolled full time at SPU or have been enrolled at SPU within the past four quarters.
- Transfer students are those who have not been enrolled at SPU in the past four quarters. Transfer students must have completed either a Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) degree or 90 transferable credits by the end of the quarter prior to entry into the nursing program.
- Transfer applicants 和 post-baccalaureate applicants 必须至少有3个.5 GPA in the combined prerequisite 课程, 所有先决条件成绩均为C (2).0)或更高. A maximum of two 课程 may be repeated to achieve the required minimum grade of 2.0. You do not need to complete a separate application to the University, your Nursing Application will be the only application needed should you be offered admission.
- At the time you submit your application, at least four (4) prerequisite classes must be completed. Final acceptance in the program is contingent on successful completion of the prerequisite 课程 by the end of Spring quarter for Autumn 和 Winter admission 和 by January 15 for Spring admission. All applicants must have achieved the minimum or higher prerequisite GPA at the time the application is submitted 和 when all prerequisite 课程 are complete.
- Students may review the admission process on the Nursing website. Applications for the nursing major are available during the open application periods on the 卫生科学学院 护理网站.
- Those accepted into the Nursing Program must maintain a minimum C grade (2.0) in all nursing 课程 to continue in the Nursing Program 和 maintain high st和ards of professional performance 和 behavior.
- You must complete the major or minor requirements in effect in the SPU 本科目录 for the year of admittance to the major or minor.
